MOD275 Rules

This is an 1/8 mile heads-up class run on a .400 pro tree with a pro ladder. Courtesy staging and auto-start is in effect.
All vehicles may be towed back from their passes. All cars must cross over scales after each pass.

Safety:
All the participating track safety rules apply for driver and car, including the use of oil retention device or engine diaper. ( when required. )

Body:
The car must retain its original appearance, profiles and dimensions. Factory roof and quarter panels must be used. Aftermarket fiberglass and carbon fiber replacement panels are limited to hoods, front fenders, doors, deck-lids, and bumpers only. All front ends must be of factory dimensions and cannot be stretched. After market wings and spoilers are permitted. Stock appearing, front and rear bumpers are required. A hood must be used: scoop or hood must cover the entire induction system. Forward facing hood scoops / turbo or supercharger inlets are permitted.

Interior:
Factory appearing dash, door panels, and driver seat is required. Factory floor pans on driver and passenger side are required. Transmission tunnel may be removable and must be metal. Aftermarket steering column is permitted.

Chassis:
Stock front frame rails / Smith Race Craft bolt-on front ends allowed, must be in stock location. Front core support may be modified or removed. Aftermarket control arms, bushings, struts, and coil over shocks allowed but must be in stock location. Relocate rear coil over’s permitted. K- Members allowed on late model Mustang, Camaro, and Firebirds. Mini tubs, and back half allowed. Stock suspension / ladder bars allowed. No aftermarket 4-link permitted. No traction control devices or wheelie bars allowed. 50 lb weight break for Leaf Springs.

Engine:
Maximum displacement for all engines is 632 cubic inch. Small blocks are allowed any deck height. GM Big blocks are limited to a 10.2 deck height. Ford big block limited to a 10.3, and Mopar big block limited to 10.7 deck heights. SB and BB combos must retain stock bore spacing.

Heads:
Billet or custom fabricated heads are not permitted. Big block cylinder heads must retain 24 degree style port/valve configuration. 18 degree big block heads are not allowed. No raised runners.

Nitrous Oxide:
Small block is permitted to run any type multi-stage nitrous system-with two 10 lb bottles with a #6 line. Big blocks are limited to a single stage nitrous system - with a single 15 lb bottle with a #6 line to fogger. All other stages must be capped off.
Nitrous weight:
2600 lb…Small block single Stage
2700 lb…Small block in-line heads / multi stage
2800 lb…Small Block non in-line heads multi stage
3250 lb…Big block (up to 604 ci) max
3400 lb..Big block (605 - 632 ci) max

Supercharger:
Cog or gear driven superchargers are permitted, must meet all factory inlet, outlet, and internal dimensions. Inserts or reducers to achieve inlet or outlet dimensions are prohibited. Any type intercooler is permitted. Supercharger cannot be combined with nitrous oxide. Roots superchargers are limited to a 10-71. Centrifugal superchargers are permitted. Screw superchargers are not permitted. The F2 must run with a 3.875 reducer. The F1x must run with a 3.875 reducer. Measured at the leading edge of the blower housing.

3100 lb… Small block in-line head F1
3300 lb… Small block non in-line head F1
3400 lb... Small block cast head only F1X
3350 lb… Small block in-line head F2
3400 lb… Small block non in-line head F2
3450 lb... Big block F2

Turbocharger:
Single turbocharger limited to 88mm maximum. (GT55-88, Pro-Mod 88, ET-R88, Com, Bulls eye or = mid frame turbo. Turbo size will be verified by measuring the housing bore at the leading edge of the impeller wheel and must maintain the contour of the compressor housing. Inducer dimensions will not exceed 3.462 inches and exducer dimensions will not exceed 4.765 inches on mid frame turbos. Inducer dimensions on a Large Frame turbo will not exceed 3.462 inches and exducer dimensions will not exceed 5.56 inches on Large Frame turbos.The maximum diameter of the housing bore at the leading edge of the wheel may not exceed 2mm more than the maximum allowable. LF 85/88 with slots/surge holes must have a cover over the slots/holes that stand off by no more than .250
Inserts or reducers to achieve inlet or outlet dimensions are prohibited.
Any type of air to air or water to air inter-cooler is permitted. Turbochargers with nitrous oxide are prohibited.

2700 lb… Single 76mm T6 Turbocharger (mid frame) small block
2800 lb… Single 80mm T6 Turbocharger (mid frame) small block
2900 lb… Single 85mm T6 Turbocharger (mid frame) small block
3000 lb… Single 88mm T6 Turbocharger Y2K or GT47-88 (mid frame) small block
3050 lb… Single 85mm T6 Turbocharger PRO Mod 85 (mid frame) small block
3100 lb… Single 88mm T6 Turbocharger GT55-88, Pro mod 88 or = (mid frame small block)
3200 lb...Single 85mm T6 Turbocharger (Large Frame 85) Small block
3350 lb...Single 88mm T6 Turbocharger (Large Frame 88) Small block cast head only *Mod motor or with stock valve angle heads*
3400 lb...Single 88mm T6 Turbo (Large Frame 88) Small block cast head only

Minimum base weights:
All minimum weights include the driver.
Naturally Aspirated small block - 2500lb
Naturally Aspirated big block - 2700lb

Induction:
Small block combinations may run any type induction. Big block combinations are limited to a dedicated single opening cast intake with a single carb or a single 4150 or 4500 series throttle body. ( 4 blade, dual blade or single blade throttle body permitted.)

Transmission:
Any factory equipped automatic or manual transmission. Bruno or Linco etc. not permitted

Oiling system:
Dry sump oiling systems are permitted on all cars.

Exhaust:
Mufflers or inserts are required on all cars except for turbo cars. Exhaust may exit underneath car or out the front fenders. But must not affect timing or staging beams.

Fuel:
Gasoline only is permitted. Alcohol / E85 permitted on roots blown/v6 inline-6/4cyl application. Alcohol or E 85 or other derivatives are prohibited On all other combinations.
Water. Or Meth injection prohibited.

Street Equipment:
Functional headlights and tail lights are required.

Tires:
All cars must compete on a Drag Radial type tire with the following sidewall designation 275/60/15. Naturally Aspirated cars are permitted to run a 28.0x10.5 slick, no "W" tires permitted.
