GENERAL RULES (CONT.)

DIAL-INS: Dial-ins must be posted on the vehicle before reaching the crossover bridge. There is a sign noting that dial ins may not be changed past this point and reminding drivers to check their dial-ins before staging.

All dial-ins must be posted on the left side of the racing vehicle. Poorly written dial-ins make it very difficult to be entered into the computer and may not be accepted. It is the racers responsibility to make sure that their dial-ins are legible. The only time a dial-in can be changed is in the event of downtime. Once you pre-stage, you have accepted the dial-in as posted on the boards, It is the drivers responsibility to check the dial-in before staging the race car. There will be no re-runs as a result of a wrong or missing dial-in.

BYE RUNS: For the first round of eliminations., if there is an uneven number of cars in the round. a bye run will be chosen by the luck of the draw. That is playing cards will be used to determine the bye run.

For the remaining rounds of eliminations., the bye run will be awarded to the driver with the best reaction time in the previous round. If there is an even number of competitors, the person with the best reaction time will not receive a bye run and the bye run is not cumulative. A driver may pass on his bye and then the bye will go to the next best reaction time. Once a driver has taken a bye run, he will no longer be eligible for a bye in other rounds, unless all the remaining competitors have also taken a bye run

STAGING: All competitors will be given a reasonable amount of time to stage their race car. Drivers having difficulty staging will be given two chances to properly stage the race car. You are allowed one roll through. Should you roll through once the tree has been activated, you will receive the red light. The second time you stage, you will have to accept the tree, regardless of how you are staged. The competitor in the opposite lane has the option to back out and restage if their opponent has rolled through the light once.

DRIVING IN MULTIPLE CLASSES: We encourage racers to enter more than one class, even with the same car. Upon doing so, the driver understands the he or she could be required to return to the staging lanes quickly to enable the program to proceed at a normal pace. We ask that you take this into consideration when entering two or more classes. Always keep in mind that we always strive to complete the program at a reasonable hour. We will not put a hold on eliminations. for one driver to return to the lanes. However, every effort will be made to accommodate drivers running multiple classes. Once a driver has run a qualifying pass or in eliminations. there is no changing of driver or car.

The racer may not enter the same car in No E -Street.

"It is the drivers responsibility to check the dial-in before staging the car."

BUY BACKS: Buy backs are available for all classes except Jr.Dragsters and Quick 16.. You can only buy back into the second round. Just proceed to the pit gate with your buy back money, class you're running, name, and car number, then proceed into the second round. The time to buy back expires as soon as the final call for second round for your class has been made.

RE-RUNS: From time to time, problems may occur that require a pair or pairs of competitors to have to be re-run in eliminations. It is the sole discretion of the Competition Director to engage in re-runs. It will be the policy of Thunder Valley Raceway Park to re-run pairs in the event of computer malfunction or other uncontrollable circumstances whenever possible. Each situation is different, and will be dealt with in the most fair and expeditious manner. At times a clear winner can be determined without the need for a re-run. Be aware that the practice of re-runs will be kept to a minimum. When the need arises. every effort will be made to accommodate the racers involved to allow them to cool down and rejoin the rest of the field in competition. Failure to agree to re-run will result in loss of round and round points.

RAIN-OUT POLICY AND PROCEDURE: It will always be the goal of Thunder Valley Raceway Park to conduct events according to schedule. However, rain and other inclimate weather can play a drastic role in the production of an event. Should there be a substantial chance that an event will never get started due to rain or inclimate weather, we will make every effort to inform the public that we will not be opening
