that day. We have a user friendly automated phone
system that will contain information concerning event status. If rain or
inclimate weather begins after the gates open, we will not cancel an
event until there is no time in the day left to dry the track, provide
for one time trial run and complete elimination's at a reasonable hour.
Should rain halt an event after elimination's begin, each driver in
attendance that day will be given the points. However points will only
be awarded if the entire round of elimination's has been completed. If
the round is incomplete, no cars/ drivers will receive points for that
round. For example, if there are 14 pairs in round three, and only 13
pairs run, and the last pair is barred from running because of rainout,
no cars will receive points for that round. Only if all
pairs/cars are run for that round will points be awarded.
Thunder Valley reserves the right in the event of
rainout to either call the race and re-run the entire race at a future
date. The other alternative that Thunder Valley may exercise is to call
the race complete, and split the purse among the remaining competitors
in the class. If this second alternative is chosen, then the racers
eligible to share in the purse will be determined by looking at the last
fully completed round. Thunder Valley will do everything possible to
complete the round. If however round six has been completed, and three
pairs have been run in round seven all cars that have advanced to round
seven will be eligible to participate in the purse.
Rainout will also be called if other circumstances
exist that bar the running of the race ; i.e. computer failure.
generator failure... There will be no cash
refunds. Rain checks only will be given out.
REFUNDS AND BREAK RULES: There are no cash refunds for breakage, however we will provide the
driver with a raincheck to be used at any time, at any race at Thunder
Valley Raceway Park.

Test and Tune.
No refunds or rainchecks will be given after the
driver/car completes his or her first time trial.
Bracket Races. Once
a driver has taken the green light in any time trial session, he or she
is no longer eligible for a full break raincheck. Raincheck, "I be
given to drivers of cars based on the following raincheck formulas:
One (1) time trial - (admission price spectator
ticket) x 50%
Two(2) time trials - admission price spectator price
x 25%
Full refunds will be given to Quick 16
non-qualifiers. Refunds for non-qualifiers in Quick 16 will be available
on the same day as long as the pit gate is still open for business. The
driver may choose to use the refunded tech card for entry into the next
event. If a qualified driver's car breaks after being laddered and prior
to elimination's, and that driver cannot continue elimination's he will
not receive a refund or raincheck. He can however find another racer to
take his place on the ladder. The pit gate will be willing to look for a
replacement.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
AND ALCOHOL USE
Thunder Valley Raceway Park will not
tolerate the use of controlled substances or alcohol by any individual
wishing to participate in any event taking place at our facility. The
abuse of alcohol will not be tolerated during events. Any participant
suspected of violating the NHRA Substance Abuse Policy will be referred
to the NHRA for disciplinary action.

safety and enjoyment of the racers and spectators alike and will be
enforced for those purpose. It is expected that all persons in the Park
will conduct themselves in a fair, professional manner at all times.
There will be no alcohol allowed in staging lanes,
ready line, burnout area, starting line, racing surface and return road.
Absolutely no glass bottles will be allowed in the park. No firearms
or weapons will be allowed in the park. Any weapons found on the
premises will be confiscated and turned over to the local authorities.
Any person who becomes abusive, or threatening, or
otherwise creates a condition or circumstance that is unsafe or out of
order or otherwise does not abide by these rules, may be asked to leave
the Park (no refund). In addition, suspension from future events at the
Thunder Valley Raceway Park or any other NHRA sanctioned facility or
event may occur.
