GENERAL RULES (CONT.)
     

ATV'S AND SCOOTERS: NO ONE under the age of 16 is allowed to pilot these vehicles at any time unless it is being used to tow a race car. These vehicles are not to be used as recreational vehicles. Ages 14 and under allowed only in cab of tow vehicle when in staging lanes, ready line, burnout area, starting line, racing surface, and return road.

PIT SPEED LIMIT: The 5 mph pit speed limit will be strictly enforced. Speed limit on return road is 10 mph. Once you have entered the pit area, you are subject to this rule ANY vehicle, including race cars, tow vehicles, or support vehicles, found excessively speeding may be impounded. The only areas of the facility that are excluded from this speed limit are the race track.

BURNOUTS AND TESTING OF EQUIPMENT IN PITS: Burnouts are allowed in only one area of the facility---the designated burnout box behind the starting line. The practice of testing transbrakes, line locks, and other equipment where full or partial throttle is achieved while the vehicle is on the ground is strictly prohibited. Testing of this equipment must be done while the car is elevated on jack stands, or in the starting line approach areas only. Any car being warmed or tested in the pits must be elevated by a minimum of two Jack stands at the rear of the car if it is not being driven. A qualified driver: must be in the cockpit while any car is running. Any violation of these rules may be grounds for disciplinary action.

 

 

 NHRA RULEBOOK: Racers are required to be familiar with all of the rules pertaining to E.T.Racing contained in the NHRA Rulebook. All safety and vehicle specifications will be adhered to. Racers assume the liability of being familiar with the NHRA Rulebook.

WAIVER AND RELEASE FORMS: Upon entering the facility, each customer must print and sign their name to the insurance waiver and release form., You will not be granted entrance should you refuse to properly sign these forms. Any minor (18 or under) who wishes to compete on track must have the Parental Consent Waiver and Release forms signed by the parents and on file in the tower.
