2009 RACER INFORMATION

The rules and information package is designed to provide each racer with the important data concerning entry fees, purses, individual class rules, points, ET Bracket Finals, and courses of conduct -while on Thunder Valley Raceway Park premises. Those rules are designed to work in conjunction with the 2009 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Rulebook.

We encourage every racer to become a member of NHRA. To join NHRA and receive your free rulebook, a subscription to National Dragster Magazine and other information regarding drag racing call 1-800-308-6472.

There may be times when we need to update and/or clarify certain rules that are exclusive to the Thunder Valley Raceway Drag Racing Season. Should you ever have questions concerning any portion of our weekly racing programs, do not hesitate to call our office or track down an official on race day and ask questions. The number at the office is (405) 872-3429. We will be more than happy to assist you in any way we can.

If you have any suggestions or ideas Just jot them down and drop them off at the pit gate.

Thunder Valley Raceway Park has a dedicated staff of employees who work every weekend to provide racers and spectators alike with a racing program that is second to none. As the track manager, I can be found at almost all racing events in the tower, pit gate, staging lanes or roaming the pits. If I allude you, just ask any Employee with a radio and ask him/her to find me.

NEW THIS YEAR WE HAVE THE CENTRAL STATE GASSER ASSOCIATION AND THE MAKO 10.5 RACES.

THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE SO COME ON OUT.
