ROUTE 66 KING OF THE OPEN ROAD
This event is held in the spirit of Drag Week and Race Week, where participants will be required to make a 300 mile cruise, return to Thunder Valley, and qualify and compete for over $30,000 in payouts. Parking and Testing will be available Friday Night, followed by a 6-hour cruise, 300 mile cruise, and two rounds of qualifying on Saturday Night. Final qualifying and eliminations will be run Sunday, followed by awards.
All participants must make the cruise in the allotted amount of time and provide verification to Cruisin Oklahoma upon arrival to receive your tech card.
Racers will receive three qualifying runs (ran in sessions), with two on Saturday and one on Sunday. The TOP 8 qualifiers in each class will move into final eliminations to determine the winner of each class. The #1 Qualifiers in each category will receive a special award.
Entries are first come, first served. There is a maximum of 200 vehicles permitted to compete. HOWEVER, RACERS MAY ENTER MULTIPLE CLASSES IN THE SAME VEHICLE BY PURCHASING TWO ENTRIES. Second entries with the same vehicle will not count towards with 200 vehicle maximum.
